INDIA STRIKES BACK

Let us take you through the events developed between India & Pakistan during these 13 days.

* Pakistani based terrorist attacked Indian CRPF convoy on 14th February 2019 in which 44 Jawan died and many others injured, the attack was carried out by Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad headed by Azhar Masood.

* Indian leadership took the vow to avenge the killings of 44 martyred soldiers who were attacked by a suicide bomber 

a resident of Kashmir trained & motivated by Jaish.

* International community put huge pressure on Pakistan to curb terrorist safe heavens and take concrete actions against them and all the nations condemned this terrorist attack, in UN also Pakistan tried to convince other nations that the attack was not carried out from its territories. But the UN condemned terrorist the attack on Indian Police forces.

* FATF (Paris) clearly stated that Pakistan is not doing anything concrete against terrorist safe heavens, the impact of it will be hard on them.

* Seeing International pressure mounting Pakistan took the Jaish headquarters in a move to show the international community that they are up to something but no nation took this act seriously as it was done earlier also.

* Indian government decided to block the excess water which flows from Ravi Satluj & Beas to Pakistan however India has not violated the Indus Water Treaty the Indus, Jhelum & Chenab river water will continue to flow to them.

* Indian government withdrew the Most Favoured Nation tag for Pakistan, which raised the customs duty on import from Pakistan to 200 % resulting in no or very low trade between the countries.

* In the early morning on 26th February 2019 within 13 days of cowardly terrorist attack Indian Air Force plane 12 Mirage 2000 accompanied by Sukhoi Jets attacked terrorist camps in POK & in deep Pakistan territory. The air strike dropped 1000 kgs of precision-guided bombs on terrorist camps which resulted in the killing of 250-300 terrorists.

It is being reported that Pakistanis were busy in sorting the alarms from Chinese & Saudis about the attack but till than Indian Air Force has struck down the targets and were returning to their bases, Pakistani F-16 also took the flight to thwart the attack but returned due to large Indian formation.

In this attack brother in law of Masood Azahar probably died, the one who hijacked the Indian airlines plane and landed in Kandahar which resulted in a release of the JeM chief Masood Azahar.

* In a probable retaliation Indian forces are on high alert.

KASHMIR (Pulwama) TERRORIST ATTACK, ACTIONS & CONSEQUENCES

On 14th February 2019, Indian Central Reserve Police Force Convoy was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber of Pakistani based Islamist terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad, which took the life of 44 Soldiers and 13 Snipper Dogs on the spot and several others injured The responsibility of the attack was taken by JEM within one hour of the attack.


Attack was carried out by Adil Ahemd Dar a local resident of Kashmir who was trained by Gazhi Rasheed a Pakistani resident who infiltrated in December last year, he was here to avenge the killing of two nephews of Azhar Masood.

It is clear and very much evident that Pakistani Government and Military are fully involved in such terror attack after the responsibility taken by the JEM, headed by Azhar Masood resident of Pakistan.

After the attack news, there was an atmosphere of sorrow and pain in the country, India stood united
against terrorism and the demand for retaliatory actions also emerged from almost all the sections of the society.

But this is the time to keep patience and think wisely any knee jerk reaction may invoke unrest and would not lead to any fruitful result in destroying Pak and its terrorist safe heavens. This proxy war wedged by Pakistan to bleed India economically and socially is not gonna end with a surgical strike or going on war with them, they are ready for it and want us to do the same mistakes, as the nation Pakistan has nothing to lose, they are living on the crumbs of Saudis & Chinese.

So the Indian Government took certain decisions which show they are moving step by step to suffocate and isolate Pakistan internationally and locally. in the series of steps first India removed the tag of Most Favoured Nation from Pakistan which resulted in a hike of customs duty to 200% which would result in low or no import. It will affect Pakistan hard as trade between India Pakistan is approx to 5% and on the other side Pak has not given MFN status and already blocked import of certain items from India, further the cross border trade will affect J&K as it trades around 550 crores annually with Pakistan it may lead to suffocation of Kashmir businesses which can further worsen the situation in the valley which regularly witnesses shutdowns, this will be add on blows to Kashmiri business.

In its hard push, India trying to declare Pakistan a rogue nation internationally, in this series India is preparing a dossier to submit to FATF Paris (Financial Action Task Force) to blacklist Pak for providing funds to terrorist groups and will show how ISI helped Jaish-e-Mohammad and other terrorist groups in carrying terrorist activities. Further India with its new found friend the US will try to blacklist Azahar Masood as the international terrorist but its all-weather friend China has still not agreed on it found in recent developments.

First time in the historic Indian government removed security and vehicles given to separatist leaders in the valley, which is being applauded throughout the country and shows the firmness of the Indian leadership in dealing with terrorism. If observed from another angle it could be disastrous for the state of J&K if terrorist killed any of the separatist leaders will result in instability kind of atmosphere in the valley which would result in army applying more force and assets in the state which will result in further low morale among Kashmiris, Pak might get little success in inciting unrest among Indians.
But some decisions have to be taken to put pressure on rouge Kashmiris.

Few other decisions have been taken with the common will of Indian citizen and its government like a complete ban on Pakistani artists by All India Cine Workers Association, some of the liberals are not in the favor of this decision the justify their view by the theory to capture all the Pakistani talent from their country and bring them to India, but it is not feasible as in earlier years have tried the same but the artists will never oppose any terrorist act done by their country and ultimately support them as everyone knows not a single person from Pakistan comes to India without ISI briefing either it is Aman Ki Asha aunties or artists. They are trained to bleed India.

The government of India has given Indian Security Forces free hand in the valley to take any action. Resultant to which Pulwama attack mastermind got killed on 18th February midnight.

India needs a consistent approach against Pakistan, they should be pressurized in the international community, befitting replies to be given not only to the terrorist but also to the Pakistani Army, take other neighboring nations together who are also the victim of terrorism sponsored by Pakistan to isolate Pak locally and internationally that will definitely compel them to end cross border terrorism.

It seems with the recent steps India is moving in this direction and has handled the situation in a great manner showed patience in the hour of grief, firmness to fight terrorism, unity showed by Indians in fighting terrorism and donation to ''bharat ke veer'' an initiative run by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the family of the Martyres.
